The choice of the power of an air conditioner depends on the number of rooms to be cooled from their surface and form.
For a correct calculation should be considered but also other factors:
- the sun of the building
- the insulating material of construction
- the number of people living with
- the number and size of windows and French windows
- the plan is located in the home
- the number and type of electrical equipment on the premises
- average temperatures on your location
From a purely indicative, it is recommended that a power of
6000/8000 Btu / h for areas between 15 and 20 sqm
9000/10000 Btu / h for those between 20 and 30 square
11000/14000 Btu per premises between 30 and 40 sqm.
Before buying you should ask for the 'intervention of a technician.
